This is a site dedicated to a machine. One that had not much of a life the first 22 years of it's exsistence. I found her sitting in a garage in a 'burb' north of Columbus, Ohio back in June of 2001. We became partners in life on July 1st, 2001. She originally rolled off the showroom floor of A.D. Farrows HD in old downtown Columbus, Ohio the summer of '79. Her birthdate was recorded as May 1979. Her story up till I bought her can be found on another page. I changed her birthday to July 1st when I brought her home to Missouri. We have celibrated her birthday AND our anniversary on July 4th weekend ever since; usually a special day for her on the 5th, after our celibration of our country's birth and all military celibration. Some birthdays have consisted of up to 15 hours of non stop riding across two states and many passengers. Those stories also will be on another page.

What is unique about Thunder is that she was transformed into a piece of machinery that has taken me across the Midwest in all kinds of weather and situations. And has always gotten me home.
